It was a tough match against the team that’s 4th in the London Premier Youth League standings. Coach Gabriel Dumitru said, after the game: “It was a good game, technically and tactically. We had a great first half, with many well constructed attacking plays and finishing shots. It was 2-2 at half-time, but unfortunately we lost because of two refereeing decisions. I encoureged the players to keep their heads high, because they played really well. Congratulations to the team!”

Am avut un meci greu contra echipei de pe locul 4 din London Premier Youth League. După acest rezultat, Eagles rămâne cu un singur succes în campionatul U15-16, dar orice victorie ne poate readuce în prima parte a clasamentului!

Antrenorul Gabriel Dumitru a analizat meciul pentru fanii Eagles Football Academy: “A fost un joc bun, tehnic și tactic. A fost o primă repriză bună, contra unei echipe solide din punct de vedere fizic și mental. M-am bucurat că am avut multe acțiuni cursive în treimea adversă, finalizate cu șuturi de calitate. La pauză s-a intrat cu scorul de 2-2 și echipa avea un tonus bun. Din păcate, jocul l-am pierdut pe două greșeli mari de arbitraj. Le-am spus băieților să țină capul sus, fiindcă astfel de momente sunt inevitabile în fotbal. Ei au jucat bine și îi felicit pentru prestație!”
