The win against Goztepe had a marquee player for Eagles U16-18. Ablaikhan Serikbayev, originary from Kazakhstan, scored a decisive goal and was very active in the Eagles offence. Coach Gabriel Dumitru thinks that our Man Of The Match has a great future in front, describing him as a “very mobile player, with great technique and power”. For his age, Serikbayev shows a mature approach to the game and his strenght often creates space for his colleagues.

“He’s got a great reaction speed, so that can make the difference for us at times”, said Gabriel Dumitru after the weekend win. In the end, our coach was very happy with the progress shown by his players: “We are growing, physically, tactically and mentally, so we’re looking forward to play the next game in the London Premier Youth League”.

Victoria cu Goztepe a avut un remarcat special în echipa Eagles U16-18: originar din Kazahstan, Ablaikhan Serikbayev a marcat un gol și a fost foarte activ în atacul “vulturilor”, fiind desemnat ‘omul meciului’. Antrenorul Gabriel Dumitru prevede un viitor frumos pentru “Ablay”, pe care-l descrie ca fiind “un jucător foarte mobil, cu tehnică în regim de viteză și forță de pătrundere”.

Pentru vârsta sa, Serikbayev prezintă o maturitate impresionantă în joc, iar faptul că este un vârf robust, care luptă cu fundașii adverși, ajută la deschiderea multor culoare pentru colegii săi.

“Are viteză bună de reacție și de execuție, el poate face diferența în unele momente”, a mai spus Gabriel Dumitru după meciul din weekend. De altfel, antrenorul de la EFA U16-18 s-a declarat mulțumit de progresul înregistrat de băieții săi: “Suntem într-o creștere din punct de vedere fizic, tactic și mental, abia așteptăm să vedem cum vom arăta la meciurile viitoare!”
