The Eagles Football Academy U13 North team recently took on Northwood U13 Red in what proved to be an intense and competitive match. Despite the 4-3 scoreline, which didn’t end in our favour, the performance showcased the team’s growth and potential as they continue adapting to the 11v11 format.

Transitioning to a larger playing surface presented new challenges, and it became clear how essential physical preparation is at this level. While the team excelled in certain areas, maintaining the same high level of intensity throughout the match remains an area of focus. At present, the team can sustain top performance for one half, but the coaching staff is working hard to address this and ensure consistency over the full 90 minutes.

Throughout the game, the Eagles U13 showed great resilience and teamwork. Their determination was evident as they competed fiercely against a strong opponent. With 3 wins out of 4 matches so far this season, the Eagles have already demonstrated their scoring prowess and ability to challenge the best teams in their league.

Man of the Match:
A special mention goes to Denis Duca, who was instrumental in the attacking third. His instinct as a striker made a critical difference, contributing significantly to the team’s overall play. Denis’s ability to lead from the front with passion and determination has been a key factor in the team’s success so far.

The Eagles U13 North squad is making steady progress, and their hard work, team spirit, and commitment to improvement are apparent. With continued focus and effort, we are confident that the team will keep growing and achieving excellent results.
