Our U15-16 and U16-18 teams were scheduled to play last Sunday, in the London Premier Youth League Showcase. On Saturday there was a mix of results for our Academy. After the U11-12 team lost their game against New Generation FC, the U8-9 Eagles won the match against Nigel James Academy Grey, 4-2. A new season started for all our groups at Eagles Football Academy. The results of our younger teams, in the London Premier Youth League, were not great last weekend. However, the slow start is somewhat explicable, after the pandemic break and all the difficulties brought by it. We saw very encouraging football during last weekend, when our U15-16 and U16-18 teams were involved in action in the London Premier Youth League competitions. Unlucky. Our Eagles Football Academy U13/14 team is out of the League Cup, in spite of a good performance against Kentish Town Academy. The final score was 1-1, but Kentish Town held its nerves better and won the shoot-out, 4-1. The Eagles sole goalscorer in regular time was Gabriel Adesania, after a great play by our team.
